Unit One
Student LearningStudents will do a variety of activities to help them understand the different things that music can express. In this unit we are moving away from just the idea that emotion can be communicated through music, but also how thoughts and ideas can be communicated. We will look at programme music and text painting to see how composers shared events and ideas through their music. Students will create a listening map to Vivaldi's Spring and also create Soundscapes to represent a theme in nature.
