Student LearningThis unit is highly collaborative between the classroom, the art room, and the music room. We are all looking at ways that symbols help us to communicate. This will be an especially rich unit in the music room, as symbols are a huge part of music. We will look at traditional notational symbols, non-traditional notation symbols, and aural symbolism in music.
